Abstract

This study aims to identify the methods used by educational counsellors to address violent behaviour among students in the school environment. To achieve this aim, a case study approach was adopted, with interviews serving as the primary data-collection tool. The findings showed that tolerance contributes to rebuilding the personality of students who exhibit violent behaviour by providing psychological and educational support and strengthening their abilities, thereby helping them modify their behaviour and adopt more positive behavioural patterns. The findings also showed that punishment, when applied within a structured educational and guidance framework, can serve to correct behaviour and rehabilitate students, thereby supporting continuity in their educational trajectories and stable academic progress.
